The first ever Spartan Story Slam was a huge success!! Thank you to all of our wonderful storytellers – you all did an awesome job. Overall we had about 75 people that attended, enjoyed a great dinner from Sonny’s Brick Oven Pizza and heard some great tales from Spartanburg residents. Those in attendance were also enteratined with the musical stylings of Snidely Sidewinder & the Unrepentant Uke Boys. Above our MC Joe Mullinax intruduces our winner Gus Studer who tells about his first formal dance (his greatest humiliation). Be sure to mark your calendars for the next Spartan Story Slam scheduled for Monday, November 8 at 7:00pm at Sonny’s Brick Oven Pizza.
